Launched in 2016, Café Casino brings a modern, sleek and pristine design to the US market. The same operator runs this casino, as well the previously reviewed Slots LV and Ignition. As such, if you’ve read those reviews, you should know what to expect from Café Casino, too. The website is only accessible to players from the United States.

As Café Casino caters to the United States market, it is no surprise that the game selection is quite limited. Available software providers include Rival, Spinomental and Revolver Gaming. You also have multiple titles that are exclusive to Bovada casinos. They’re a nice incentive to lure players in, but they’re far from must-plays, in our opinion.

The website design mostly favors a white and purple color scheme. Credit where it’s due, it all fits together perfectly. Clicking on a game will give you a brief description and what special features are available. If you sort by type, the website will even give you a brief history and a guide on how to play certain games. Great if you’ve never tried any type of table game. And while we like the color scheme, Café Casino follows the same mobile centric design you see on all websites.

The operator protects all information entered and stored at on the website using an SSL. They also encrypt all player information, which is only accessible to Café Casino employees on a need-to-know basis. Available payment methods include credit cards, Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash for deposits. For withdrawals, you can also use Check by Courier. All the information is laid out in the FAQ, and even has helpful screenshots to guide the player.

Café Casino Bonuses and Promotions

It seems like Game of Thrones fever has spread into the gambling world, too! From April 15, for the next sixth weeks, each Monday will bring a different promotion under the Reign of Gnomes bonus. On top of these changing promotions, gamblers get double perk points for playing the Reign of Gnomes slot over the weekend.

When you first sign up for the casino, you get to pick between two different bonuses. Option one gives you a 500% match bonus for a deposit up to $5000! However, that imposes a 10x maximum cashout, with a 35x wagering requirement. Option two drops the match bonus to 100%, and the deposit only goes up to $1000. However, there is no maximum cashout, and your wagering requirement is only 25x. In both cases, the bonus is cashable.

In an effort to promote Bitcoin betting, Café Casino offers a special welcome bonus for your first Bitcoin deposit. Like the baseline promotion, you have two choices. You can take the Super Play, which is a 600% match bonus for a deposit up to $6000. It has a 10x maximum cashout, and a 35x wagering requirement. The no max option is a 150% match bonus for a deposit up to $1500. It doesn’t have a maximum cashout, and only has a 25x wagering requirement.

Every Thursday, the operator offers a different deposit promotion under their Weekly Mystery Bonus. Each week, a different offer is made to players, and can be redeemed an unlimited amount of times.

If you refer a friend to Café Casino, you get $100 if they make a deposit over $20. The player referring others must also have made a $20 to be eligible. These $100 are bonus cash, and are subject to a 35x wagering requirement before they convert to real cash. Your maximum cashout is capped at 10x. Your friend gets a 500% match bonus for a deposit up to $5000. If you’ve been paying attention, that’s the same one they’d get if they registered independently.

The last promotion we will discuss are Perk Points. These, alongside tier points, are used to boost gambler engagement, and to reward loyal players. Any wagers you make while playing slots, table games, video poker or specialty games will award perk points. You can then redeem said points for cash bonuses.

While you earn perk and tier points equally from each wager, they are fundamentally different. Tier points cannot be redeemed for bonuses. Instead, their only function is to advance you through the eight perk levels. Every time you advance a level, your cash back on losses increases by 1%. You start with 10%, and get 18% if you reach max level.

Software & Games

There are a total of 281 games available to play at Café Casino. The vast majority of these titles are done by outside developers. Familiar names like Rival, Revolver Gaming and Spinomental, the same software providers we have seen in other casinos by the same operator. That said, there are a total of 25 games that are exclusive to the operator’s casinos. They’re not all slots either, so everyone will have something fun to try out.

There are a total of 215 video slots, that include both regular and progressive games. Progressive titles stand out by having a small ribbon in the corner of their tile that indicate how high the jackpot currently is. You can sort slots by popularity, 5-reel video slots, 3-reel classic slots, or ones with a progressive jackpot. This, alongside small text previews, are great in helping you find your new favorite game.

There are a total of 27 table games, that include a wide variety of titles! Some games are more popular than others. There’s a total of 9 different blackjack titles – one third of all available games in this section! There are also four roulette tables, and multiple table poker and baccarat titles. You also have some exotic card games like Andar Bahar and Teen Patti.

We were surprised to find an absence of any live casino games. We expected at least some basic games to be present. However, at the time we wrote this review, there wasn’t a live casino section.

We hope you like Bingo, because the guys running Café Casino absolutely adore it. There are 22 specialty games in total, and 11 of those are different types of bingo. The other half are scratch cards, two keno titles, and a Sudoku slot.

It takes 72 hour for any withdrawal to be processed. After that, the wait for the money to appear in your bank account differs by payment method. Bitcoin gets theirs near instantly, with only an approximately 15 minute delay. In contrast, Check by Courier takes between 4-7 business days and Bank Wire takes between 5-10 business days. While you can use credit cards to deposit, you cannot use them for withdrawals.

Available deposit methods are credit cards, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. You can also purchase a Visa Gift card, so long as it is good for ‘International and Online purchases’. There do not seem to be any deposit fees for any of the payment methods.

Withdrawals are subject to a minimum and maximum limit. Your maximum limit is increase if you’re a VIP player at Café Casino. You can make a withdrawal once per week, except for Bank Wire, which is once per month.

Method Min Withdrawal Max Withdrawal Max Withdrawal (VIP)
Check by Courier $50 $2000 $2500
Bitcoin $10 $2500 $3000
Bank Wire $1500 $2000 $2500

With the minimum bank wire withdrawal being an overbearing $1500, we really cannot recommend it as a withdrawal method.

If you plan at playing at this casino, we recommend doing so with Bitcoin. It has the fastest withdrawal times, and has the most flexibility with minimum and maximum withdrawals.

Accounts inactive for 18 months will have their balance seized by Café Casino. The operator pledges to attempt to contact the player one month before this happens. In our eyes, this is an unacceptable practice. Administrative fees are a much better system over outright setting the account balance to zero.

As far as the US market goes, this casino might be one of the best ones. It’s not without it’s drawbacks, that much is true. But the sheer variety of games that you can play here is astounding. The promotions are also quite generous, though we recommend steering clear of the ones with a capped cashout.

Our main gripes continue to be the same. Café Casino and its operator do not seem to have an active license anywhere. This leaves players exposed, as they have no mediator to resolve conflicts between themselves and the casino. There’s also an absence of live casino titles. If Café Casino hopes to seriously compete, it can’t skip out on something so important.
